Is it the sun, is it a flower?...Is it both? The Sun Flower Dress is a unique design I created to give texture and dimension to this flowy kaftan dress. Individually cut strips of fabric are piece-dyed in a botanical dye bath, then attached to the body of the dress one beam at a time. Then the entire garment is dyed in another botanical dye bath. The results aren't always predicable, but they are always fun! This dress has two roomy hidden side seams pockets and a 10 inch slit up the back center for easeful movement.
