Philosophy

Botanical Clothing is a small clothing line based in Oregon. I design with a focus on sophisticated comfort, ease, and pockets (almost every garment has them). Everything is designed, sewn, and dyed in my small studio using organic hemp and organic cotton. I only use fabric from a source I trust (I’ve been working with my hemp supplier since 2012). The only plastic used is elastic for waistbands in pants and clothing care labels. No animal products are used. The dyes I use are derived from plants (some I forage myself), I sew with cotton thread, and I recycle or donate fabric remnants that cannot be used. I am striving to be as close to a zero waste clothing line as I can be. Consideration for the natural environment and Planet Earth is at the center of everything I do here and in my personal life. I don't feel there is any other way to live.
